1. The main reasons which is taking its toll on the auto sector are interest rates and oil prices which are  putting pressure on the auto pack and as a result key auto stocks like maruti are being affected and thus it may see  lower growth in Q1'09, however the outlook is not that bleak and stock will pick up in H2 and it has the potential to be best among the lot and it can go up to Rs 799.

2.  It is to be remembered that presently auto sector is in downtrend and one will be better off avoiding the two-wheelers segment.
