1. DLF has seen a 93% drop in quarterly profits
2. Realty sector is most affetced by slowdown.
3. DLF has US$ 3 bn mountain of debt
4. DLF has US$1 Bn receivables from a group company debtor and said company is nin no position to pay the bills. The point to note here is that the debtor which is not able to pay the debt is its own floated company 'DLF Assets' (DAL), which is held by DLF's founders and primary shareholders.
5. Lenders are not willing to lend more to DLF.
6. Another Satyam scam is waiting to happen as DLF will try to buy out DAL and thus will be loaded with a debtor which has nil cash flows.
Last but not least minority and retail share holders are likely to face the heat because of these deals which are basically done to loot public money with eyes wide open.
